waste gate help

this week end i am starting to turbo my car i have no idea how to hook the wastegate up

also what kinda of spring should i get i want to run 8 to 9 psi max

4 or 5 lb spring, im guessing its a external wastegate, also what are you using for a boost controller because that will be involved in hooking up the wastegate

turboxs sbc and will tial spring fit in a jdmsport wastegate

I never heard of jdmsport is it an ebay brand? and the boost controller is it a manual or electric?

its possible a tial spring will fit however im not sure I have no exp with jdmsport products

do i need a dump pipe for my waste gate or is that an option and i am guessing that are different sizes of wastegates cause the one i have seems to be to tall

yes, there are different sizes of WGs,

I would re-route the WG dump back into the piping.

so the part with the spring faces down toward the manifold the open part gets a dump pipe bolted on to it and welded into the downpipe??

no, you can just run it straight out it doesn't need to be recycled back in to the exhaust

It doesn't have to, but there was a good reason to "recycle" it, I can't remember it though.

I personally just vented it into the atmosphere.
