I have heard such things like on e-bay a lot of turbos say that they are water/oil cooled, but the water ports can be blocked off if you want to use a turbo timer. What does this mean? I have a water/oil cooled turbo, can I just block the water part off?? Is it good for the turbo? thanks, -Ryan
 
water cooled turbos are great for making them last longer, but are shitty because they get so hot and rasie the water temp fast.
you can simply block off the passage and not worry about it, or tap in a line from the coolant system and hook it up
