What can I do for some cheap horse power gains to my 1997 honda civic d16y7 hatch?

y8 head swap, complete motor swap, sell the car and buy an ///M3

the CR is low enough to put some NOS on it just dont go blowing yourself up with it, really youi should just swap it out for a bigger motor B16A, B18B, C1, C5 or a B20/CR/VTEC. your not going to get much out of your stock motor

a 50 shot of nitrous will feel pretty good but get ready to long for a swap cause youll want more after feeling it.......

Call it a day and get an engine swap or do nitrous.....CHEAP+Power dont mix together well.

if your just looking for something to have a little fun throw a bottle in there
if you just want a little more power to tool around with do a "mini-me"
otherwise a full swap really is your best bet

if you decide to do the full swap stop spending money on that engine.... put any "mod" money twards saving for a swap... no point in modding an engine your getting rid of....
just do the maintanance on it so it lasts till the swap so you dont blow it up early like i did
