Mi chica y yo tenemos un cena esta noche.

Pork tenderloin with a jalapeño lime marinade.
Mashed potatoes with garlic, butter and heavy cream mashed lightly with skins =)
Sauteed mushrooms and onion with reduced wine and fresh parm cheese.
Broccoli cooked al dente with salt and pepper.

    I didn't feel like brining a turkey....

    What did everyone else do?

the wife cooked up a roast beef 3 lb chunk of meat on a bed of onions, garlic, and other veggies, then whipped up some awesome mashed potatoes, and topped off her master chef skills with a kick ass garden salad with shrimp and hard-boiled eggs.

best meal this week......but we always eat rich....hehe

We had the usual, all from scratch.

Smoked turkey with grapefruits in it.
    Sausage Stuffing.
    Green bean casserole.
    Brown Sugar sweet potatoes.
    Caesar salad.
    Mashed Potatoes.
The best gravy I have ever had in my entire life.
Veggies with shrimp barbecued on my grandpa's 3 door big ass barbecue.
    Cranberry
Spinach stuff that I don't eat.

    pumpkin pie
    apple pie
    pecan pie
    tiramisu,

all topped with homemade whip cream or homemade icecream.

It was a late dinner but I got three meals in. I definitely felt sick though and fell asleep for an hour to be awaked by the pie extravaganza.

    on thanksgiving...

    Butterball turkey
    Spiral ham
    biscuits
    2 kinds of stuffing
homemade cranberry sauce, and store bought gelatin kind
sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmellows
    mashed potatoes
roasted carrots, celery, and onions in olive oil
roasted potatoes with rosemary and olive oil
    corn
assortment of beans, green beans, wax beans, and a few other kinds
    apple pie
    blueberry pie
my sister made some minature cheese cakes (raspberry and pumpkin and vanilla)
this pecan pie type mixture my sister made as well

I'm trying to think what else.

Some fresh shrimp to start things off.

Some good old Pinot Grigio from cali.

Through it all, there was no gravy which really killed my usual blood lust for turkey. Also I stayed away from all the deserts except for apple pie and tried to keep a decent sense of diet.
