what ecu do I need for b16a

I have a 88 civic with b16a that im going to try to get the smog check done. I am curious what is the smog legal computer to use in ca? I was told by a frind to find I p30 ecu from a 92-95 del sol dohc vtec . I found one with the numbers 37820 p30 000 470 101931 ash . I can get a good deal on it but I need to know if its what I need before I buy it. Money is also kind of tight so I hate to buy it if its not what I need. thanks for any help.

you'll have to BAR the vehicle before you can smog it.. goodluck

it doesnt really matter, you'll most likely not pass BAR the first time, so you'll have to fix a bunch of crap before it'll smog anyways
