what motor is better for boost?

With the right gearing LS's are decent.

I have an LS in my hatch with a B16 tranny and I love it. Its definately not slow.

Go LS-VTEC for a year, then turbo it. You'll be happy.

got a 16 head to spare could even ad the na fitting line and cap the oil port befor i ship it...only 10k mils on it.with harness and ecu and the lines n stuff i would part with it for 400 plus shipping

well i want to do some more reseach on turbo set up's and wut not.. also i do not with to have a turboed vehicle as a daily driver, so im going to buy a truck before next winter and boost my civic thought next winter

get the ls, it will be more reliable boosted plus it has lower compession

i know that a b18c5 are extremely expensive but why doesn't anyone like them? Besides the fact that they dont like boost? Do they have other problems or just the compression is too high?

through all my searching and thinking i would try to have this set up as a base

F20b with LC pistons or thicker HG, gsr/ls tranny W/lsd.

the f20b is like a 2.0 gsr/c5 with iron sleeves

the f20b is an awesome engine.

and most people dont like the ITR because of the outrageous price increase with very little performance increase.
