what pistons should i use

ok i got a 99 gsr with headers intake manifold and a 68 mm TB i was wondering what pistons should i use some people have told me type r but wouldn't that make my compression to high

p30 (jdm b16) p73 (jdm/usdm itr) would be your best bets.

highest cr to lowest is jdm p73/jdm b16/usdm itr

depends on what you want.

P30 or P73-00 (JDM) - 11.5-11.6ish CR respectively
P73-A0 (USDM) or PR3 - 11.0-11.3ish CR respectively
PCT (CTR) - 13.1 CR

all of these can be slightly altered with milling and different headgasket thicknesses

You are going to have to do some serious tuning to make those run on pump gas. It is possible but you better be willing to put some money into a tunable ECU and dyno time.

is it possible, and yeah i probobly will use them, one of my other friends put civic type r pistons in his gsr hatchback and it ran fine on 91 i think it will raise my compression to 10:8 how hard will it be to put them in though
