what spec is my ecu?

All this talk of OBD1, OBD2, p13, p12 etc ECU's doesnt mean much to me as i dont know the difference between them nor do i know what type of prelude ecu i am running in my jdm h22a accord.

where do i look to find out?

You could ask your local Honda. However, given your circumstances, I don't know what they'll tell you. P13 is the H22A DOHC VTEC ECU. There is a difference between Auto and Manual. Did the ECU come with your swap? I bought mine from EBAY, and specifically searched for what I wanted.

92-96 Prelude(JDM)=OBD1
97 up =OBD2

P13=H22A
P14=H23 (non-VTEC)

My ecu came with the engine, hell ive even got a full prelude digital dashboard, climate control, clutch and brakes.

I assume my ECU is OBD1 p13. thanks for your info.

Probably a good assumption. If the front clip was Japanese, I would guess that your P13 is JDM spec, which makes more power than the US P13.
