I have an 89 dx in running condition...but the throttle response is completely fuckt...I'm pretty sure its due to some of they ghey mechanical controls.
I purchased a d16a6 a few years back, its in pieces, had a blown head gaket (it had apprently just been replaced also)...so I worry about head warp
I have a line on a d16z6 shortblock in pieces for 100$ CAD. I apparently ran, but burnt oil. It doesnt have a distro tho
I have all the wiring for MPFI and 2 d16a6 ecus.
I was considering d16 block, d15 pistons, d16z6 head....I've heard rhumours of 150 Hp with that setup.
Since I'm getting the d16z6 short block I assume its only smart to use the z6 block and not the a6.
Is there a better cfombination I could make from these?
