I was wondering at what hp level do you need to be at to need a larger fuel pump. I have a ls in my 92 hatch and am going to turbo it this summer. I plan on running dsm 440cc's with a resistor pack and getting about 220whp. Do I need a larger fuel pump for that? If not what whp should I be at to need a larger fuel pump?

Thanks

You don't need one, I was running about that much horsepower for a while with my stock fuel pump, but I would get one to be safe. It's probably maxed out or pretty close at that much horsepower. I have one installed now.

It's never too early to get a bigger pump. Grab a Walboro 255lph...they're affordable and effective

yup. its only like 90 bucks brand new...

90 for a pump
or 1500 for a new short block, pistons, and rods cuz you leaned out
