which brake fluid...dot??

trying to find out wa dot code do i use when buying brake fluid dot 1 2 3 4 which one cuz am lost guys

A quick google search says Honda prefers you use dot 3. Just sayin...

"Heavy Duty Brake Fluid DOT 3 08798-9008 4423802 The only brake fluid specifically formulated for use in Honda vehicles. It helps to reduce the corrosive effects of moisture in the fluid and is compatible with synthetic and rubber materials."

Look at the boiling point ratings. Use only DOT 3 or 4.

Use ford dot 3 for best results, thats what all us budget racers use

Uses 3 dot but you can look on the master cyl, cap and it will tell you Most of the time!!!

i use ATE dot4 racing blue and absolutely love it

and yes brake fluid reservoir cap will have all info you will need, some models it say DOT3 only and some DOT3 or 4
