Which ecu is this?

I have a pg7 ecu supposidly from a `88 integra for my zc motor. I know the zc works because it fires up on a `88 si ecu (pm6) from the junkyard. It says pg7 right on the thing. When I put it in and try to start the motor it feels like it wants to start for 1/2 sec but does nothing else, the light on it comes on like normal and all. It is the smaller case style too, I cannot find a picture on the net anywhere of it including pgmfi.org. I heard there was an earlier version of this ecu? the serial# on it is 37820-pg7-6640 ohh its an oki ecu too if that helps.

Yea, I think there was i thread about this ECU a while back on here. Some weird variant or something, different market than Japan.

86-87 used a different design for the electronics but the same plug as 88-89.

88-89 ECU will look vaguely similar to a PM6 inside, and will work in your car.
86-87 ECU will look totally weird in comparison.

ya the ecu does look totally wierd, electronics are all different inside, not to mention the physical size of it is smaller, but its prolly a jdm. That old ecu won't run a zc will it?

to be more precise: it will not run in a 88-91 CRX. Perfect for ZC in 85-87 CRX Si.
