why does the h23 need to be sleeved in order to put in forged pistons. i just bought a 92 prelude and plan on boosting in, and i have read everywhere that you must sleeve the block first. why is this??
You don't HAVE to, but there are very few machine shops that can properly hone a FRM sleeve. The easy way out (and expensive) is to remove the FRM sleeve and replace it with an iron one that machine shops know how to work with.
