WILL 92-95 CIVIC STRUT/SPRING FIT 96 CIVIC?

I have a 96 civic with air ride on it and I'm wanting to take it off, But I don't have my stock springs and struts anymore. My friend has a set of 92-95 civic springs/struts the complete assembly ready to bolted on. I'm wondering will these fit???? Some people say the front will but the rear won't. If someone could elaborate on this alittle more I'd greatly appreciate it!! Also what struts/springs would interchange with a 96 civic????Thanks in advance!

the actual springs and shocks will work, but the rear lower control arms will not. they are different lengths.

so I could run the eg set-up on my 96 with the 96 control arms??

yes, like b said, the control arms are longer, use the 96 ones, because having a shorter( eg ) one will not be good.
