The left rear axle from my 1990 Civic 4x4 wagon appears to be causing the rear pumpkin to move about. There doesn't seem to be any play in the joints. I put a new boot on the outer joint and didn't pay any attention to aligining the inner and outer joints. Is it possible to get these joints out of phase? I assume this question would be the same as that for a front axle. I thought the term Constant Velocity meant there was no phasing required for these types of joints.
