When I do just the intake manifold swap, do I still need to change the IAC wires? I know i will be needing a throttle body and cable... Im just wondering what all I need. I have everything for a head swap, y8 head.... but i got the y8 ecu, and dont want to put out 150 for a new computer. Can I use the y8 ECU? And just make the ecu think i have a knock sensor or something. If i need the p28 ecu, I am just going to do the manifold swap, but if i can use my p2p ecu, please tell me how to trick the ecu into thinking that i have a knock sensor. any information or links to a good site would be appreciated, I just cant seem to find anything, everything always uses a z6 head swap as an example. i need some good pictures and information on a y8... any help would be greatly appreciated.
