i heard that the y8 intake manifold is like the type r of d series manifolds. is this true?

well, its the best d-series manifold.. kinda like the ITR is the best b-series manifold ... so in that sense, yes

The Y8 has the best FACTORY intake manifold for the d-series, as well as the best head design, but the oil pump is a major flaw.
