Yeah so there is a hole in my valve cover

i pulled the cover, and nothing was askew underneath, so i just siliconed over it.

That impact is from the outside.. Anything on your hood that might have popped a hole when you close your hood? probably a screw driver or something

I assume you checked the underside of the valve cover for rust...


That is a seriously odd place to suddenly have a hole. I could see an oil pan suddenly having a strange hole.. or a radiator.. but a valve cover? Weird man...

yeah. i really dont care. im even too lazy to unbolt it again and toss on the spare i got.

there is NO RUST on the valvecover. period.
