Sorry to hit you guys up with yet another newb question....I have come across a killer deal on a f20c (s2000) block, I was curious how hard it would be to swap this into the crx and if its even worth the effort. I know Ive hit you guys with some stupid shit lately, just try to overlook it, I am a newb after all :(

It would be uber hard. You'd have to fab an entire rear wheel drive setup into your car. As of this time there's no easy way to run that motor with a front wheel drive transmission. I'd skip it if I were you...

Reference the "V8 into EF" thread getting all the hits in the lounge section for more details on exactly how hard it would be...

:( I took a late interest in cars which I desperately regret....I didn't start "legally " driving until last may lol. Art is my first love which is probably why I love bodywork so much it combines my 2 favorite things....enough of me trying to justify my noobiness though I'll just slowly walk away with my head lowered

    my RWD CRX project
    cool stuff

I browse through these forums as I mix paint to do a bleach portrait...I'm such a nerd. If I knew as much about cars as I do anime I'd be set :D

I've seen the RWD civic hatch. Forgot what model it was, only remember it was red and I think it made me drool a little.

I wish I had that much money to do that.

I would'a skipped out on driving school too if my mom wasn't being a BITCH and taking my fucking keys. She made me come up with the $375 for all of it, my dad was gonna pay half then bitched out like always. Could'a been $375 closer to my nitrous oxide kit.

And that's really weird that she did that considering she's been letting me drive HER car since I was 11 years old, but doesn't trust me in my own :D. Prolly cause she's seen me on my way to work doing like 110 mph on the wide open road when I'm late.

I'm not sure why, but I've been sucked into reading that damn thread every day. HAHA! Freakin' HILARIOUS! I'm thinking if HS ever had a soap opera thread...and mind you I've only been an official member since January and looking around the site since last summer...it would have to be THAT THREAD!

"As the V8 turns into a Kswap, then B, then back to a V8, then K again, then V8...etc." would probably be a good soap opera name for it. :D

Wow. Your driving school was cheap. I paid closer to a couple grand. But, then again, it was The Nürburgring Driving School.

Just chalk it up to the fact that you don't need nitrous yet in your life.

aren't you living out of your car or something?

i think a new engine should be the last thing on your mind. even if it is available, just buy it and flip it. try to make a quick buck.

not at the moment, right now I'm staying with my aunt and uncle, they took me in because my parents and I don't get along very well...something about having crackheads over all hours of the night doesn't sit right with me. But yea alot of the shit I've been buying has been getting turned for profit, the only reason I said anything is because I found a job painting for $8 an hour and I wanted to know what I would need to put some of that money towards. Of course half of every paycheck will be going back in the bank untill I have a decent amount to get started on rent in a decent place.

$8/hr isn't that much, but at least it's work. try to save as much as you can. Look for stuff that pays a little bit more in the mean time. things are sure to turn around.
