ZC and pg7 ecu not starting!!!!

So I've got a 91 crx hf with a jdm dohc zc swap and I've been running the stock Si ecu for awhile and just went out and bought an ecu out of a 89 Integra 5 speed. Should plug and play, right? Well I plugged it all in and my car wont turn over at all. Plug the si ecu back in and it runs fine. WTF.

Im also running msd ignition, maybe that might be the problem?

are you sure that the PG7 ECU is 88-89 and not 86-87? - the 86-87 PG7 ECU will not work
