want do i need to do for a dohc zc in a 94 vx thanks for the help

A b series engine.

I really think you should go with the B series.

You might need to convert the engine to obd1. Then it should just drop right in with your stock mounts and trans if you wanted to use that EXTRA long gearing for something

If it is an OBD1 Zc motor, you will need nothing! It will bolt right up.If it is OBD0 You will need to convert.
Do yourself a favor though and get a z6(92-95 Ex/Si) transmission to mate up to this.

Well a ZC costs around 400, right?

I got my LS engine/trans for 400, even though it was a cable trans I sold it and bought a hydro, so I spent around 700 for the complete swap.

Sorry i was not thining LS.
But still that motor does not drop right in.
I have a Zc in my hatch ,it whips it around pretty good.
Affordable and i didn't have to buy mounts or anything.
I guess it depends on what you want out of the car.

i have a hb with a b16 and another with a gsr swap but i want to do a dohc zc because it has low compression and i want to start turboing cars and zc are cheap so if it blows it did not can't cost me that much
