so i assume it is much better to just swap a b16 into my 89 teg than try to work w/the stock zc ?

there are no VTEC DOHC ZCs - the stock 89 Integra engine is not a ZC - it is a D16A1

    Cuz it's JDM, duh.

Actually it's probably due to the fact that you can run the ZC off of your stock electronics without having to upgrade to a VTEC ecu for the mini-me.
Also, and Jerry can correct me if I'm wrong (as he often does :)), but the ZC has a halfshaft that makes the axles equal length, whereas the minime would have the uneven length axles.
I'm sure there are many other reasons, depending on the particular application/situation. There is no one engine that is perfect for everyone.

    Use it.

haha pwnge of the noobz, zc's are great motors, and instead of not going the zc route look into gude performance for a head build, if i dont go b16 then thats what i will do with my zc, they are great motors and depending on what kind of raicing you will be doing vtec might be a bad idea, in MY OPINION, though vtec is addictive.
