Bitch stole my rims.
1991 Civic LX. 163,000 origional KMS. D15B2 runs sooo very smooth after tune-up. 5 speed trans has a grinding noise so we'll probaly pop in a Si trans. It gets wicked gas mileage but its too damn slow.
He just bought a Civic Si style muffler w/twin tips.
And we're building a MPFI D16Y7 for it.
Carnage...spun and destroyed two bearings. When we took it apart it was connecting rod against crank, no bearings inbetween. o
Connecting rods were overheated, tempering was lost and they cracked, ready to break.
Ass ton of carbon but very clean walls.
Head is very, very clean and we're rebuilding the Y7 block with new bearings, rings, oil pump with D16A6 con-rods and crank. Re-useing the headgasket, water pump and timing belt, all are in super great shape. D16A6 intake and exhaust manifolds are going to be used with a Si dizzy and PM6 ECU.
