Updates!

So, I went and bought an RMF narrow copy from our local vendor. At the same time decided to redo the entire exhaust. RMF has a 2.5" past the collecter and went 3" the rest of the way. I put in a magnaflow 22" long resonator then a new magnaflow muffler. It sounds really deep and actually quite quiet for what it is. Sounds nice :) Only issue is now I need to find a slim fan. No way the stock fan (even hacked) could fit with this header the way my radiator is mounted.

I also decided to swap out my Beaks reenforcment kit for the ASR subframe brace. The ASR brace is a nice piece. I like the way it attachs to the LCA bolt as well really securing the entire structure.

I'll take better pics of the header tommorrow in the day.

nice. i got my slim fan from advance auto iirc. works great. came with bare wire leads and i just wired in the stock plug.

I see. For some reason it popped into my mind on my way to work the other day. I started thinkin of how I would make one. Then I realised, I dont know anyone that owns a Del Sol lol. Kinda shot my idea down.

Whatever would work for an EK, EG or DC2 would also work on the del sol. We're talking about the brake rotor end of the duct right? Maybe take the heat sheild and weld a nipple on it for the hose to connect to.

Correct, the rotor end. Ive got a friend with an EG, but hes a flake. Maybe I could get him to cooperate as a test pilot lol.

I took it to the muffler shop down the street and had them do it. There is no such thing as "too big" for an exhaust.

Alllrighty then...

I'm heading to the Dyno again tonight. Noticed with the change in header and exhaust I had some break up in the upper RPM's. Hopefully that means its breathing better and just leaning out from the FANTASTIC scavenging the awesome header is doing? :) I can only hope. Let's see how she does.. This thing is turning into a Dyno queen.

Because of the better exhaust it went super lean, ~16:1.

3" exh and rmf narrow copy made a huge diff.

199.5whp and 134tq.

Will post sheets later. I is more happiez. :)

Dyno sheets. You can see the diff between my JDM DC 4-1 with 2.25" exhaust vs the Private Label RMF Narrow copy and a 3" exhaust.

We also did a test with a 3.5" short ram intake on the car, some pickup in the midrange. I have a 3" homemade cold air intake on it now.
