i have a 99 civic ex with the sohc d16y8 vtec replaced by the non vtec d16y7 from a 98 civic dx still using the y8 tranny, harness, and p2p ecu
it is now throwing engine check light for vtec
what would i have to do to run this setup, clear ecl and pass smog?
my battery light came on the other day so i thought it was my battery going weak and had it tested at autozone, it was bad so i replaced it with a new one and thought my problem was solved but it started to come on again and my idle would bounce up and down at stop lights... i had my alternator...

I have a '94 del sol si with a gsr swap and was planning on reinstalling the cruise control unit into it since the previous owner deleted the a/c, pwr strng, and cc. Is the stock cc unit plug n play or will there be any issues after the motor swap?

i just bought my brother's '94 del sol with a gsr and wanted to get a/c installed but need to know if i could use the unit from the b16 del sol/civic or did i have to use the d15/16 unit?
