When you turn your key to the ON position, does the main relay and your main injector start ticking like crazy? If so, it is your ECU ground. The ground (about 6 inches long with an eyelet) comes off the engine harness and mounts to your thermostat housing.

I believe the previous owner disconnected the yellow constant (memory) wire for the stereo. I think the clock is on the same circuit.

The key would still have to be in the "ON" postion to unlock the steering wheel. But, yes, kinda.
