piece your turbo kit up put a t25 volvo or saab turbo...with the original down pipe......with the intercooler of that same car you get the turbo from....i have the same set-up just with a d16z6

what you can do is drop a d16z6 or d16y8 head on that y7 block....75mm vitara pistons,ls rods,arp rod bolts,cast iron manifold,tial bov&waste gate,410cc rc injectors,walboro 255lhp fuel pump,ls tb.....you can push 250+ whp with stock sleeves.......cus i have a d16z6 ej1 turbo'd im pushing 310whp...

i got a civic dx which in fact it has a vtec harness out of a civic si which works & will work with a b16,b18c1/c5,lsvtec,h22,f20b,ect ect...........just with a little bit of mods done to it........i have my dx running a b17a1 w/lsd tran which i love like sh*t

i hav a 96 ek with a d16y7 vtec & want to swap to a b18b1 i hav the motor & everything but do i hav to change wire harness or get a obd jumper:confused:

all yu got to do is swap heads to a vt3c head bro good luck.................

i had on3 bout 4 months ago jdm b16a w/ type-r cams obd1 and it still running in the street cus the dud3 i sold it 2 h3 liv3s down the street from m3 h3 turboed th3 car it pr3tty fast but my eg5 b16a turbo b3tt3r

Well good luck wiff the build and i build me a ls/vtec turbo bout 4 months ago.....put it in my civic ef then sold the car took out the motor and put a jdm d16z6 vtec the dude gave me 25 hundered for the car and i kept the motor hav it in my hatchback eg now good luck wiff the swap bro

you should get a b16a hydro tranny for dat motor cus i got da on my eg5 coupe turbo

my friend is doing the same thing on him 98 ek civic hatchback and he bought the whole car cus it is wrecked and he tryin to do the swap but he is gunna change the whole wire harness

ya you can use the same wire harrness cus i did it on my eg5 b16a turbo i use the stock ecu and ran three or four extra wires for the vtec O2 sensor the presure oil and other wires i am useing a p28 with no chip on it

it will run but how the one dude said you may need a custom chip but i got a eg5 b16a w/ b16a hydro tranny turbo im running a p28 with no chip and vtec kicks hard @ 4500rpm i think cus about the vtec control and the turbo

you dont need to change the wire harness cus its obd2 it will work cus my older brother did it and it worked

i would go with a jdm b18c vtec you need a p28 and run the vtec wire and you be good to go.... WELCOME TO THE HONDA SWAP!!!!!:D
