I have the same exact thing happenening. On the same year car and motor. It seems like when this happens something is putting pressure on my throttle cable. So I would just go move it around and it would simply stop. I dont know if this si the problem but it works.
sorry 13.9 amps. A fully charged battery should read 14.4
Over all the past 2 days nothing has really happened. I'm thinking that maybe my powers coming and going to the positive terminal were not gettin a good connection.
One of the biggest honda heads around here is buildin a 700+hp b18 and is going the non vtec way. He said that its better to keep it non vtec. I'll get some details tomorrow.

Altenator puts out 12.7 while running and lights off. With lights on 12.4. (Same as the battery) My teacher told me that the alt. should be putting out somewhere around 14 with a fully charged battery. But i dont think a drop of 2 volts is causing my problem. Oh and now my headlights wont turn...
Yeah, It still runs without the battery. There has to be a draw somewhere. Maybe the alt. ground? This is my first honda so im not too familiar with them..
