well i know some rednecks that couldn't pass first grade but can build some mean engines ha.. but yeah i would trust building an engine myself for about the same price over taking somebody elses word on what has/hasn't been done to an engine.. because you never really know..

yeah i wish i would have started driving like this at 16! wow ran 11's all day bouncin off limiter! usually run 21's driving my original way! thank god for this forum it has given me more knowledge on "when to shift" then i could have ever imagined!

^ exactly! There are many different options as far as cat backs go! Just shop around and check reviews on the ones you are interested in to know for sure what kind of sound you will get! But that 400 dollars can def go to a better setup then what the muffler shop suggested!

WOW took this advice and it worked to perfection! I thought it felt like a rocket the first time i tried it! Only this time I did it for a street race in the middle of rush hour traffic for pink slips! Totally won an EVO VIII that guy had no idea what he was facing!

ok i took this advice..it seemed to work great! my car is 20 times faster shifting like that i dont know why i didn't do it sooner! Does that work for all gears? I tried it on launch as well!! Other than some awful wheel hop it took off like a rocket!

gosh that reminds me of the good ole days when i was 14 me and some buddies pitched in to buy a $300 geo... neutral bomb the hell out of it on some dirt roads.. stupid kids stuff.. it surprisingly took it all though.. well until we got the bright idea to ramp it into a pond.. Sh*t at 14 we knew...
