I have 91 CRX DX with a B16A (First gen with cable clutch) and I need a new alternator. Would the old alternator off my original 1.5 litre SOHC motor work? Also is it the same amperage rating (because my car doesnt have AC and the B16 did). If it doesnt fit which alternator should I order.

I have a 20gig Ipod and I love it. I have about 2000 mp3s now and its only half full. The only downfall to downloading music off the net is that the TEXT (artist, song name, album...) isnt always filled out properly, and thats how the songs get organized. This can be fixed in the Itunes program...

Yah I guess that the H22 would be probably the best bet, due to the cost savings... freeing up a little more money... and its a little different from what I see most of the time for 88-91 Civics and CRXs (B16 and B18 swaps).

What is differerce between the transmission thats included with the JDM H22 and a b16 ITR transmission? And is there any difference between the USDM and JDM transmissions, I don't really know much about gear ratios and such...?

I'm going to buying a mint condition 90 civic SI hatchback and wanna do a swap... The car is going to be a daily driver, but designed for 1/4 and 1/8th mile. I only plan to do a few bolt ons such as header, and CAI... Anyways sould I get a H22, or a B18C5. I'm not worried about how hard it...

Hey I'm probably a little late but I noticed that nobody mentioned the fact that the hasport b16 header for the crx misses the front crossmember... I personnally bought the Vibrant JDM raceheader for b series motors (not specifically for a b series in a crx) and had to add the second o2 bung...
