Did you check the bores for roundness, they may not look worn but no.2 and 3 cylinder can get out of round if its been thrashed because of the open deck design. So the bores could still look good but the rings wont seal properly if the bores are out of round.

There are plenty of cheap pipes on ebay , the motors probably stock anyway so just ditch the turbo and fit a pipe, retune your computer and away you go.

If you looking for that sort of horse power then maybe you should go darton sleeves. If not mid deck then standard ones with a block guard, try KMS engine developments (they are on ebay as well) for block guards or Endyn should have that as well.

I am assuming this is a B16/B18c head, when you order new LMAs order Integra type R ones, if you have to buy new ones they are the best and the only ones suitable for high lift cams.

I use formagasket non hardening for all my builds, its seals well but unlike all the silicon based gunk out there it wont form hard bits that blocks your oil galleries when it breaks off inside your engine, its easy to disassemble and cleans off with methylated spirits.

Just check the lift on the skunk 2 as they probably have more lift so require better springs, The CTR cams are shorter duration than ITR for better midrange ( 1600cc vs 1800cc ). So its personal choice with them.
