my boost guage read good vaccum though but ill check that, also the wires have electrical tape from the previous owner ill trace those and check connections
Hey i just finished my vitara/ eagle d16 started it up for the first time and got code 14 cel. There wasnt a light before the build and the same thing happend when i swaped to this motor from my old d16. I think its for sure the iacv cuz a while back when i had it before i had my tuner disable...
my intercooler charge piping has about a 1/4 inch wide bung on it which looks like what would be on a cold air intake. this is my first build but im sure thats not supposed to stay open. can i put a rubber plug and hoseclamp?
The breather is on my catch can. On line is from the valve cover to the catch can and the other is from the pcv valve to the breather. The intake mani is pluged where the pcv valve hose went too
Ok i just talked to my tuner and he said for my setup to run a line from the valve cover and a line from the pcv valve to a vented catch can and plug the intake manifold where the factory pcv valve line goes. Is this a good way? And do i drill my pcv valve out or keep it stock?
i know there is a million threads on catch can setups but this is my first turbo build and i wanna get it right. i have a d16z6 vitara/eagle setup and wanna know how to setup the catch can. i understand i need one with a breather but i dont know where to run the lines, to the valve cover? black...
thanks i think ill have a local welding shop weld one in my downpipe near the location it is on my current header, anyone no the thread of the bung for me to order?
this may be a dumb question, i just recieved my 2.5" stainless downpipe for my turbo build and there is no o2 sensor bung, what do i do? can i relocate it before my cat or what?
