I have a stock z6 head complete minus a valve cover, P28 ecu, and Intake mani with throttle body fuel rail and injectors still on it. $300 plus shipping.

when converting to obd1 and running a vtec head and ecu do I need a distributor for the head or will any obd1 distributor work?

I've herd that a lot of people get an adjustable cam gear when doing a mini me swap. I was just wondering if it is something that is needed. Not sure if it matters but I am putting a z6 head on my a6 block and converting to obd1

OK I got some parts in and more on the way. I have the z6 head, intake mani, throttle body, fuel rail, and fuel injectors in the garage right now. I have an ebay header on the way along with a high flow cat. I still need a wiring conversion harness, obd1 oxygen sensor, obd1 dizzy, timing belt...

Are you still running dual point fuel injection? If so you should swap to multi point. Also did you make sure the timing was set right when you put the belt on? Make sure you check all your sensors to see if any of them are messed up. I hope this helps
