    Jdm K20A in a 3g 1988-1991

yes one was attempted. if you search the forums of preludepower.com you should find it. the thing about the 3g lude is the low hood line. have you noticed the motor leans towards the firewall? the k20 likes to sit straight up and down. if you can mount the k20 in the 3g at same angle the b20a5...

    91 si B20A 5 speed

damn mang you got some problems with that knew car of yours. first off the bouncy idle. it's your IAC valve. it's located on the back of the manifold next to the throttle body. It's got two small screws on the top of it. replace it...or for the time being. open and you will see a white diaphram...

91' Prelude Si, h22 engine swap questions, please help!

because there are no mounts for the CRV motor available for this lude. other b-series swap have been done with custom one off mounts. but it is actually more work and more money than an H22 swap. take into condsideration that there are already H22 mounts and axle for this lude. that by itself...

    90 prelude s question

you are a liar! JDM B20A for the 3rd gen lude doesn't have 160hp! I wish cause i have the B20A. it's rated at 140hp. so what you're telling me is that you have a 3rd gen jdm accord B20A which makes 160hp in your lude. liar, liar, liar!!! it is not ideal to use that motor cause unlike the lude's...

    Engine swap

no you don't have to change your harness unless you wnat to use the B20A5 intake mani or you want to convert to OBD0. which is not what i would recommend. 1Funryd is correct. but allow me to be more specific. what sean means is you will need to switch these parts from your B21A1 onto your...

    what engines will work.

i wanna know where you get a mount kit for a B16A. please tell me cause i have never seen one B4. there are custom one-offs out there but no kits. f22 w/o any real mods? please explain yourself again. you need custom mounts for this also. no matter which F22. as for Eladiodz's question. it...

    '89 Prelude

if you are asking if a b18 or b16 tranny will bolt to a B20A5. the answer is no. and why would you want to do that anyways. the b18, b16, b17 all have rod type shifters. the B20A, B20A5, B21A1 all have cable shifters. not worth the time. the D16Z6 would be the worst option for a motor. why...

Vtec Does Notengage.. And Egr Code..

i've had a similar prob to this with my old crx hf w/ D16Z6. it turned out to be my thermostat. it was stuck open. so coolant temp wasn't reading correct temp. this caused my VTEC not to kick. i replaced it and i had VTEC again. not sure if this is your prob but it's worth a look.

    VTEC in 3rd gen lude??????

haha what's up Brian. yeah i've been here since the GB started, telling all the 3rd genners to high-tail it to pp.com. but i guess no one reads. they just want to start their own threads for whatever reason. c'mon now ppl! when i was a noob at pp.com i didn't even post threads till i had a...

    VTEC in 3rd gen lude??????

doesn't anyone read my posts? obviously not. https://hondaswap.com/prelude/all-you-3rd-gen-lude-owners-hurry-76089/ oh well your too late now anyways. the price will be bumped up to $500 for the mounts after the GB. not that $500 is too high, but $350 is much better.
