i have a 93 del sol si but i wrecked it. the engine and everything is ok. i was wondering if i could buy an s since there cheaper and convert it to si.
will i have to do any rewiring. can i just plug my engine harness and ecu from the si into the s??
im swapping a d16z6 into my 91crx. the new tranny is hydro but the chassis is set up for cable. i know i need the conversion but do i get the Innovative Mounts one or the Hasport one.
Which is better? Do u know of any problems with either?
im swapping my d16z6 into a 91 crx. i got everything in and ready to go. i just wanted to know if my axles from my del sol, which is where i got the d16z6 from, will fit my crx because im using the tranny that is on the z6. i just need to know if it will hook up to my suspension
ok im about to swap over the engine. i need to know if i can just use my del sol transmission, that is already on the engine, to put in my crx. i know the del sol tranny is a hydro and the crx tranny is a cable. will it work? what should i do?
ok so now that i know that it can be done and its relatively simple to swap a d16z6 into my 91 crx does anybody know what major things i will need to do. like the rewiring and what not. how to convert it.
yeah thats what i was sayin. i have googled it for like two weeks and ive looked everywhere and everyone says the same thing. its easy. so why r they sayin it cant be done
ok i bought a 91 crx dx because i wrecked my del sol si. i figured i could just swap the d16z6 into the crx just so i could at least drive it until i get money together for a bigger swap. i called the garage around me and they said it couldnt be done and if it could it would cost me around 6000$...
