OK I went to compare the 2 sets I have and I got some bad news...I unfortunately discovered that the set I got with the head are in fact only stock ones and NOT ARP...so that means I really only have one set, which I have to keep. Sorry to get everyone excited for nothing!
I got one, it is socketed for a chip or tuning program, however it can still be run on the stock program by just disconnecting the jumper. $125 shipped.
Hey I have a set of JG billet VTEC cams and JG cam gears. The cam gears are black-silver 6-bolt design in awesome condition, cams are model 296/300VT and area also in great shape, no scoring anywhere. They are similar to Stage 1 Crowers, a little more aggressive than CTR cams.

Legalities aside, I don't know why you'd want to buy a motor that at best is 16 yrs old just to save a couple hundred bucks. There are supposedly some inferiorities in the head design also with the older ones. Plus those old swaps you need to change the injectors, they come with cable trannies...
The alternator plugs are different, the starter is fine though. If you have the B20 harness, you can probably cut the alternator branch off and splice it onto the cars harness so you can use it.
You do not need an OBD2-OBD1 converter, because the OBD2 Teg engine harness doesn't go all the way to the ecu it just plugs in on the shock tower. You can use the harness that came on the GSR so it fits the engine perfect, it will also plug into your shock tower connectors and you are ready to...
