i do have the manual tranny mounts, i haven't even thought about the motor mount positions though??? both singles- both coupes, i don't think the motor mounts changed from 92-2000??? thank you for the input... i am doing this swap next weekend, hopefully it is only going to take one full good...

i am a pretty damn good mechanic, especially with my imports, but i just like to be prepared for everything if i can be....:driver: so any imput would be appreciated from someone that has done an auto to manual swap in a 99-00 civic or obd2b to obd1 swap.

can i use the z6 obd1 engine, head, and im with my hx obd2 harness, obd2 ex ecu, and my hx distributor? will that work or cause a bunch of crap or can i use just the obd1 z6 vtec head with my y5 im and my hx distributor,and the obd2 ecu? would that be better? i just was thinking of putting a...

sorry, i went within specs with new king and acl standard bearings,and i used a y8 oil pan ,y8 oil pump,and ay8 pick up.

ok so i put a mechanical gauge in and it reads about the same, how do i check the pump to see if it is bad?also i think my seals in my turbo may be bad cause there is a little oil in the intercooler pipes,but not much and it doesnt smoke. but i drove about 45 minutes away and i checked the oil...

thank you for your help. i did check the bearing clearance with plastigauge and you measure how wide it is after it is smashed almost down to nothing. well i am going to check it with a gauge tomorrow. thanks again.

d16z6 t3/t4 turbo with 8 psi, i just installed an aftermarket oil pressure gauge, when i first start my car when it is cold, my oil pressure goes up to like 75 psi, after about 5 -10 minutes of driving my car the oil pressure drops to zero at an idle. i have the feed line ran off the back where...

i have a d16z6 with a t3/t4 turbo,chipped p28 with uberdata,my alternator went out, i replaced it and a brand new battery. i reset my ecu,cause when the alternator went out, my vtec stopped kicking in? i have checked the wiring, the oil, and have tapped the vtec wire on the positive terminal...

i believe the shocks and springs are the same from 88- 2000. so yes i am almost positive they will fit. i just swapped suspension from a 88 civic to my 92 civic and vise versa. worked out mint.

sorry, just wanted to add that i also have oil all over in my intercooler piping!!!!!!!
