Here's my problem... Got a 97 EX (manual) w/ b61a2 from a 2000 si, P72 obd2a ecu.... the car, being built by someone else, may have the automatic harness..... i need to know how many plugs an automatic harness would have. this is what mine looks like... like i said, p72 obd2a so can...

called Peter from Rywire.com... said its best to get original harness (96-98 ex manual) and use p72 ecu

this is what it looks like...confirmed by honda-tech.com that ecu is "96 Acura Integra GSR 2 5-speed" (2 meaning obd2?). same stuff, just diff. poses. oh yeah, wtf...

hey guys i got a 97 civic w/ b16a2. What parts do i need to complete the a/c system? I have nothing coming out of the compressor besides the low pressure discharge line. what do i need from there? i believe what i need connects to the firewall

any recommended ecu's? is there a balance between price and performance? the wire harness is the easy part. just need a lil more guidance

so with this splice trick, basically 1) turn off car 2) splice 3) remove negative battery cable 4) replace negative battery cable 5) turn on, drive around did that. but it still ran like crap....what do i need to convert to obd1?

i have a b16a2 (2k si) in 97 ek. I had the same, and replaced IAFC. check that, might need to have the little mesh screen cleaned. O2 sensor? well, maybe, worth checking

it's not necessarily about being faster than other civics... it's being able to keep up with normal, daily driving traffic. at an uphill stop light, I am the slowest of the pack, seeming like the car is running on 2 cylinders. I just want it running correctly before even assuming i have power...

wow...i havent seen this thread in a while.... wow almost a month.... so if i have the p72 ecu and harness, and given my car is 97 ex w/ 2000 b16a2 engine, the above mentioned procedure would work? man i gotta find this... i'm still working on my problem!!!
