Compression test i did today was about 240 with about 5 cranks and 270 with about 9 cranks . is this good for a cr of 12.2 , i had open throttle and the ecu fusse unpluged..and i also nocied that my plugs are yellow , anyone know what yellow means?? thanx for any help

ok I have decided to go with the 82 mm bore but will the stock ls rods hold up with apr bots

Im planing on boring out my stock sleaves to 83mm . i have read that its ok ..has any one done this or know of any thing about this bore size? and would ls rods with apr rod bolts be ok with thiss set up....

What is the settings for cam gears for high RPM... Is the ex side supposed to be retared and the intake advanced ....i have the head milled .20 and at 0 settings that make the gears running retared do to the head being milled....

any one know a good site to get 82 mm honda pistons like p30 or pr3's ...( 40 over)

The motor wont start i put some itr pistons in a ls block that was 83mm and the pistons was stock size 81 just to see if it was posible ..and the mortor never did start.....but i did here the pistons slaping around on crank over....that was cool :o :) :blink:

I have the same setup and cams and my car ran like shit on top end , it ran better with the ctr cams but i pulled the head and got a cnc port job on it, and that shit ran so much better and im using stock cam gears and from 7500 to 10000 no problem now!!! the cnc ported head made a world of...

Same here ....my cr is about 12.3.1 too. and i run 91 cali shit gas all day long...and have bin for about 6 mounths now MY setup: A b16 head w/portflow valve train,valve job, CnC drag ported head milled 20 under 1 layer head gasket skunk2 stage 2 cams L Natural cam gears, stock gsr header...

the p30's are in the setup i have now...this block is on its way to RS for sleaving....I just wanted to know if i could go 85 + in size.........The price is the same for any size ,,,So can i go bigger ????
