if you build the motor you could probably boost as much as you wanted. I would read up in the forced induction forum as well as the motor building forum for your buld questions. A shop would probably rape you on the price of building a motor

all 92-95 si hatches had rear disc brakes

depends which harness you use but it's pretty much plug and play with any 94-01 teg, if you get an OBD2 gsr you can use the harness that comes with the motor if its usdm, then all you have to do is add wires for vtec(depending which model hatch you have), IAB, and KNock gl

there are a lot of different opinions on boost on a stock motor, i would guess at max 10psi with a good tune. boost is all about the tune gl

for that kind of power you would be best to go with a turbo

both jdm r's and gsrs are stamped B18c, the gsr will have the dual runner manifold and the head will be stamped p72, while the type r head will be marked pr3-"x"

you should be able to fit the z6 harness to the B16a3 without cutting it, all you have to do is plug it in and add knock wires. then if you seperate the O2 wires from the main wire loom without cutting you can re route them to the O2 sensor location on the B16a exhuast manifold. if he converted...

it will say b18c and not b18c1, jdm motors don't have the # after the engine code

i thought the obd2 civics used a one piece harness and the 92-95 civics used a 2 piece like the 94-01 tegs
