when my alignment gets bad ill have to try that. for anyone that didnt understand my post, while driving jerk your car in the direction it is pulling in an attempt to 'knock' the alignment or whatever the opposite way.

you should do it! then youd have to continue with it, build the motor, make it work. and prove everyone wrong.

thats like the idle engine speed almost, with an 8500 rpm redline youre gonna go nowhere fast shifting before 2 grand. with that said.... how long have you been driving manual. if its been for any length of time youd know just to shift when you need to shift, maybe someone needs to disconnect...

if you wanna spend the money on the mounts, go for it. but you should be able to get some polyurethane inserts for your stock mounts for around 30-50 dollars and theyll get the job done nicely.

i always get the densos, my parts stores dont carry the ngks. i love them. tell them a 94 delsol vtec. in 94 there was an s, si, and vtec. this is true all the way until 97. if theyre retarded and cant find that, i dont see why the 99 civic si wouldnt essentially be the same thing. or even a...

i dont think theres anything special about the gsr muffler. i just figured itd be one of the bigger honda mufflers. now when i think about it i could get anybodys stock muffler. but ive found someone to give me a gsr one. i knew i didnt want a civic one, those things are tiny.

i know. but its not the noise that makes it powerful, its the power that makes it noisy. what im saying is a muffler is supposed to muffle. my car is super loud right now cuz i basically dont have a muffler. i dont feel its neccesary to sacrifice my hearing for a few hp. all i want to know...

what i found the link is comparing a stock civic exhaust system to an apex 2.5" system. all i need is the muffler, i have a 2.5" exhaust. i really dont think 20hp would come from the muffler alone.
