yeah i dont want them where they are but i just felt like trying out the whole lowered thing... it kinda pisses me off having to dodge speed bumps and pot holes though...
i know it will eat tires i have friends that made the mistake. i need to get the camber plates before i really drive it much more. its my first asian tuner build so i only know most things in theory so thanks for the help. im an ex euro fan. too expensive dont play with european stuff...
my mistake on the A1 i was lead to believe that it produced 210 hp but i think that was the A6. as to the compression it changes a little but it stays the same. i have a friend who built a hybrid for his 94 accord ex and with subtle mods he was able to dyno 213hp. however he had forged internals...
track/daily driver i have never heard of anyone liking positive camber.... and i only have springs and strut upgrades but im getting adjustable camber plates soon
You also may want to be careful on taking your oem strut out on the passenger side becaus in the event that you dont know exactly what you are doing you may accidently separate the cv joint on the axle which is not fun.
why not negative? im at a neg 3 right now with my drop but thats too much for normal driving.... i was thinking more a .5 or at most 1 degree negative. why do you dissagree?
legit point bro rust causes problems with suspension work... been there done that... i had a 1973 VW thing, 1600cc aircooled and me and my dad built it from the ground up... i sold it a few years ago though.
if you are changin your springs you may want to get new struts too. i just changed my springs and the nut on the tops of all the struts was frozen in place, and my trusty honda mechanic friend from vardaman honda in hattiesburg came over and we broke out the sawzall to scavange the remaining...
I am a decent driver but tuning suspension is new to me, and i have a 1997 accord se with bilstein struts and H&R lowering springs, what is the optimum camber setting for an all around versitile ride?
i got a friend with a rex on the coast who blew up his engine but the rest of the car is ok mostly he lives in gulfport ms and i think he wants 600 for the car...
so the H22A1 doesnt produce 210 horsepower? and the compression ratio of the F22 isnt better for boosting? wow so you really think this isnt legit advice? ok well go be a freaking jerk and give someone else bad rep and call them a tool ok?
you should be able to keep your motor mounts and if you want you could actually swap the heads and intake manifold and you would have 210hp with the f22 compression ratio so you could boost your car
It came of an eagle talon that i killed and im now building my accord up but im going a different/cheesier path than turbo charging. i want 250ish or maybe h22 head or something make an offer.... ill arrange something
i bought a coil over kit for my 1997 accord se and i know nothing about suspension:(so any pointers as to what i should do with my sexy blue springs would be nice.....lol
nice job on the rex i found an 89 but its been JDMed then sold, raped, sold and finally sucked water up in the cold air intake pwning the bottom end causing it to end up in gulfport rotting. its only $400 though i havent decided to get it yet....
