Order 195/55-14s... far and away the best. Shorter sidewall increases response, and shorter od means better gearing and hence better acceleration...
Dunlop SP Sport 8000
The 86-87 Si 14x5 phone dials are not super light. They come in at ~17lbs. A 195/55-14 or 205/50-14 fits nicely.
The 85 Si 13x5 wheels are super light, coming in at ~9lbs. A 195/60-13 or 205/60-13 fits nicely. You can pinch a 215/50-13 on there, but looks a bit odd.
I like em!

Yeah, mine is like riding with the susp bolted to the chassis with no springs/shocks. It's seriously not fun to dd anymore. I guess it's the price you pay to have a competitive autocross car...
No big deal, it's just one of those things I've always wanted....
I chopped off all the crap inside the axle and welded the mechanism up, so it's basicially the same except for the weight...
I'm kinda new here, but I've been dealing with the old cars a while...
Just a curiosity.... Why is the 84-87 Civic and CRX forum titled EW? It should be E-A, as in E-AT and E-AS... It looks like the other generation forums use chassis codes...
