Im just waiting to get the head back from the machine shop. Then hopefully tomorrow I will order all new seals/gaskets, assemble the motor when they come in and get the car running. Since no one I know has room at their place to keep the hatch.
:wtf:!!! $uck the Austin Police Dept!! They stuck a damn sticker on my car cover saying that I have a "JUNK" car and it needs to be removed from the property or fixed within 10 days! They got me for no motor, tranny, up on jacks tands, no registration and inspection sticker, no license...
maybe but they look sick when theyre in motion though. I think it depends on the car. My friend had 19s on his del sol and it looked like a giant skate. But when the car was rolling it looked real good. I think my paint makes my car look like a toy car. lol
very nice. I would go 18s but i said what the hell. If i can fit 15s I might as well go for broke. and it is a show car. With some "go" too. Im thinking of stripping of the kit. Leaving the fender flares. and going for an even cleaner look with some 15 or 18s. but I dont have the $ for that...
The motor was the same color but I thought this was a better look. Even though it doesnt match. I want to get the car re-sprayed so it will match the motor.. some day. lol
before
LMAO I know thats going to happen to me one of these days. Im contemplating on whether swapping dors with someone who wants shaved handles. For that same reason. I also want to get the car re-sprayed. I would like a color that doesnt say; "Hey Officer look over here!":police...
No wide body just fender flares. Yes sir the handles are shaved. Its a pain right now though since the battery is out. i have to crawl in through the hatch to open the doors.
1500 degree temp paint of course. stripping the old paint took longer then painting it. The block and head where orange and the valve cover candy purple.. dont ask....
ok cool. i appreciate the feed-back . Just wanted to make sure. Yeah im going to use a very experienced tuner. Im hoping to get some high numbers off this motor after a turbo is installed.
