I used the DA E-brake cables, they are the same. As for lines, SS would be a good idea, but I used some from a 90 Prelude. They are not a perfect fit but it works.
I just gave these a quick read and did the swap. It's really a simple remove and replace swap. It took me about 3 hours by myself. Also, the dude I got the swap from had cut the brake hoses leading to the rear calipers, so I used some 90 Prelude hoses...
That's bullshit. I dropped mine in from the top. You just have to find the right angles and slowly lower it down. Try to get the rear mount on first because she's a bitch.
How about your TPS. When I did my h22 swap it was rev limiting at around 2000 RPM. I just readjusted the TPS and problem solved. Make sure you get .5 volts with closed throttle, and about 5 volts wide open throttle.
Are you using a shielded wire?
I think that you can test the knock sensor by lightly tapping the engine block with a hammer or something. If the sensor is working properly there should be some voltage at the sensor. I believe AC voltage. I've heard of this before but I've never actually tested.
The same thing was happening with my H22 hatch but it was at 2000 rpm. It was my TPS that was not on right. Check your TPS and make sure you get about
.5 volts with throttle closed, and about 4.5 volts at WOT (wide open throttle).
