no it is not throwing any codes, but when you drive the car it rough at first but the as the rpm climb it smooths out. its kinda weird but i am planning on replacing the intake gasket and all vaccum line this friday not sure if that will solve my problem but atleast i can eliminate vaccum leaks!

i bought a 92 crx with this swap but it is idling around 4 grand and i tried the replace the idle air control but it still does this, i was looking at my map sensor and noticed it was crack toward the middle of it could this cause the weird idle? and if so i order a map sensor for a 94 intergra...

well i dont quite understand why you want to down grade? i would find the d16y7 on Tiger Japanese Auto Parts LTD they are good quality engines that are very affordable! i have a 92 lx civic and i have the d15b vtec in it and its not worth the 550 dollars i spent on it you really dont want this...
i decided on a dohc zc for how easy the swap is and they are pretty cheap and to me thats a good bang for the buck, im a college student so money is tight!
buy you a obd1 dohc zc from jdmtigerjapanese.com for 550 dollars plus 160 shipping, you can use you old tranny but you will need to extend the map sensor wires and either buy a p29 or have a p06 chipped!
