here you go...i might as well get more opinions on her.
i call her "crazy amy."
here is what i posted at honda-tech.
I believe the girl is 100% crazy. somehow she is now in medical school and she also has a 5 year old daughter. just before she met someone else...and had a kid...then got a...
i actually miss my 92 civic sometimes...but the colt is absolutely insane and i've just started to touch the vehicles potential.
with a twin disk clutch, aem ems and some tuning with traction control...i believe the car will run 12.0's on street tires at around 120mph.
then it'll get a cage...
i'm one of the original members. (first 3 or 4) E_sol SI, wildbillhatchbac, and SiSteve...
and this colt was an original turbo model...which makes it a lot easier when doing the swap.
here are a few pics of the 95 gst i'm putting together.
OEM GST Wheel Polished (on right) vs Not Polished (left)
Washed/Waxed the Whole Car...a few bad pics...(lighting sucks)
and a picture of the 90 awd i had which some kid paid 4k for...(crazy i know)
honestly, its not really a sleeper. most people realize something is unusual about the car because its quite a bit louder than your average colt...and its washed/waxed/decent wheels/tires which is very rare these days.
but its still fun to put car lengths on porsche 911 turbo owners who think...
i'm really not around that much anymore...just come on to browse the website here and there...etc.
since i sold the green machine (green 92 eg with ITR motor...some of you may remember it) i've messed around with dsm's mostly. after realizing the cost of honda's (i do miss them) i've stayed...
running that much boost is well within the limits if the tuning is good.
a friend of mine (www.arfabrication.com) has run 42psi and had no problems with the motor. it comes down to the fuel delivery system and the driveline...which in his case ended with the teeth of 4th gear giving up at 7k rpm.
extrude honing is nice w/ mitsu manifolds because the casting's are quite a bit rougher compared to honda manifolds.
for 200.00 spent (on the entire manifold...used) i think it was worth the time/effort/money to switch everything over. from what i can feel (without taking the car to a dyno)...
just thought i'd mention to everyone...i'm still playing around with hondas and currently a friend and i are building a d-series turbo crx. we have forged rods/pistons/ge block guard/comp cam, t3/t4 turbo, tubular exhaust manifold and a few other go-fast parts for it. we're looking to run...
i was talking with brian (pissedoffsol) today and he was saying a few members had asked what i've been up to lately..etc. well...since i've sold the ITR civic hatchback i've been working on another project which has turned out pretty well.
i purchased an 89 dodge colt gt with 100k miles on it...
to the top again.
someone will pay 4500 for this car...on honda-tech several have gone for this price.
remember, it has just under 80k miles on it, is 100% original and no idiot kids have played with it. the car has been adult driven exclusively (besides me driving it twice, my dad won't even...
This is my dad's car, he is located in CT although shipping could be arranged to florida perhaps. This car is 100% original and he is the second owner of the car. He purchased it at 67k miles and has just installed a timing belt, turned the rotors, and put new tires on it. The car also has...
