I actually follow this link when I made the 5 speed swap in fact I even post this link here before, but I guess I did something wrong so I will check my work again
I made a 5 speed swap and I belived that the shift wiring is wrong... I am not able to start the car, the starter and battery are new... Do anyone has
A easy dIY or how to do the shifting wiring on a 96 EJ D16Y8... I put on a manual engine harness...
I believed the dizzy is not getting power... I will go over the wiring of the 5 speed swap but I am almost sure that I made something wrong... What should I need to look for to. Made sure that the dizzy is getting power? What wires I need to put together when doing the 5 speed swap?
Ok guys sorry for the delay but I just came from work, the battery is new, the starter is used and right now I am going to try to turn the crank... and when i was trying to start the car nothing it moves at all just the sound of TAK, TAK...
So let me try to move the crank and I will came back...
It take about a second to do exactly TAK, TAK... I will defenetly going to check the grounds and if can't find anything missing then I will look for another starter... Before bought another starter how can I know for sure that my die?

I need help with my D16Y8 project I am trying to start the car after 4 years. Everything under the hood its new includind a tranny swap... When I try to start the engine it makes only a sound like TAK TAK and there is no sign of starting at all. I was thinking a bad starter.</p>
I got this issue with the driver side... The High Beam on the driver side dont work, low beam work fine on both sides but the high beam only works on the passenger side... The bulbs are new and I even switch them just to make sure that was not the bulb.
There is nothing wrong.. what happend is that I build my D16 from scratch including a tranny swap and those two hoses basically just go in and out from the IACV and don't understand why antifreeze has to travel under the IACV?
Tomorrow I will try to started the car after 4 years and I'm just...
