I had the same problem with my transmission i ended up putting poly bushings in and it solved the problem i was afraid it was the 5th gear itself but im sure of all the gears to go bad it would be second gear first and not 5th although im sure 5th gears do go out

im not sure about an f20a swap its a heavy motor i know. if im correct i think you have to cut part of the cross member to put the h22s in but ive never heard ne one put an f20 SOHC motor in a civic but i would imagine you would need to use the axles from the accord but i dont have any clue if...
you could try switichng the plugs or if your sure you plugged them in the right order i would get a volt meter and check both plugs.. sometimes plugs go bad i had to rewire quite a few on mine.. its not hard tho sometimes older plugs get freyed at the wire and theres not enough signal going to...
but the injectors you may look in to the older injectors ran a resistor box.. they had a differnt voltage they ran at and pulsing was differnt that is probably your problem if you check out hybid honda they have places on there where they explain the diff between the non resistor and resistor...
Yep the you need to run pretty much all obd1 sensors or it wont work.. i had the same problem. I got an obd0 b16 a from an 89 crx and i had to convert all the sensors to obd2 because of all the problems
i woulnt not recommend the h22... it has an iron block and it really doesnt have any more hp than a JDM b16a i swapped a b16a into my 97 civic dx and i coulnt be happyer i was lucky because the person before me added ITR cams wich i was told by who i bought the motor from is a very popular...
