if it says h22a1 it IS USDM not JDM. and it could be from a 4rth or 5th gen. you can't really tell by the serial number on the motor unless you can maybe call honda and get them to match the number with a car. maybe. you really need the car vin number, it can tell you the year, model, blah blah...

its the same motor jus a year older. o.g. was 96 now i have a 95 in it. i jus got the block and head. i used all part from my o.g on the new motor so that i wouldn't have to replace the wiring harness. then swapped to a 95 ecu so that it eleminates the crank angle senor.
